Walk in a local pharmacy or can be referred by the surgery

Minor eye problems

  • Red eye
  • Dry or gritty feeling eye         
  • Significant recent sticky discharge or watery eyes
  • Recently occurring flashes or floaters
  • Ingrowing eyelashes  
  • Sudden and recent loss of vision
  • Foreign body in the eye

Dental Problems

An urgent appointment can be booked via NHS 111 for

  • Severe toothache
  • Dental abscess – painful swelling in mouth causing pain
  • Broken or knocked out tooth 
  • Swelling of the face or mouth which may indicate infection
  • Uncontrolled bleeding following a dental procedure or injury
